چکیده
Aim: Long-term use of sewage-sludge and improper management agricultural lands can lead to an elevated heavy metal concentration in the soil resulting barren soil. The present investigation was carried out study influence different characteristics on enrichment Cd, Cr Pb their detoxification strategies sewage irrigated profiles Prayagraj region, India. Methodology: Di-acid mixture method used for analysis. clean filtrate estimation metals (Cd, Pb) by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) (AAnalyst600, Perkin Elmer Inc., MA, USA). Isolation identification Detoxifying microorganisms were isolated from sewage-irrigated soils nutrient agar medium. Results: It observed that surface contained higher amount DTPA- extractable (Cd 3.00-3.20 mg kg-1,Cr 5.20-6.40 kg-1 6.80-7.20 kg-1) these amounts along with CEC (26.10 Cmol (p+) organic carbon (OC) Content (0.58%) decreased depth profiles. Among tested microorganisms, highest accumulation Citrobacter spp. extent Cd 13.2%, 36%, 42%. However, lowest Escherichia coli 1.2%, 8.4%, 10.2%. Conclusion: horizons A studied contain almost 12% more 9.11% Cr, 52% as compared contents B. Effects of Sewage Sludge and Chemical Fertilizers on Pb and Cd Accumulation in Fenugreek (Trigonella gracum)
Background: Reprocessing of sewage sludge to agricultural land is preferred to disposal through landfill or incineration due to its potentially beneficial effects on soil fertility from organic matter and plant nutrients, such as N and P, present in the sludge. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the impact of sewage sludge and chemical fertilizers on Pb and Cd accumulation in ...

15 صفحه اولBehaviour of Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn in sewage sludge incineration by fluidised bed furnace.
Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn behaviour during sewage sludge incineration was investigated in seven pilot tests using a circulating fluidised bed furnace. Dewatered sludge at a solids concentration of 15-18% was fed to the furnace either alone (two tests) or spiked with chlorinated organic compounds (five tests). The behaviour of metals in the fluidised bed furnace was studied by comparing metal c...

Background & Objective: The road traffic has become one of the main sources of metal pollution and could affect roadside soils. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess the pollution and toxicity potential of Pb, Cd, Cr and Ni in surface soils along some roads of city of Hamedan in 2019. Materials & Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, a total of 63 surface soil samples were...
متن کاملEffects of metal (Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb or Zn) enrichment of sewage-sludge on soil micro-organisms and their activities
Sewage-sludge may improve soil fertility but there is concern about effects of sludge metals on soil micro-organisms and microbial processes. In a series of laboratory incubations of soil–sludge mixes, effects of varying sludge metal (Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) contents on respiration, biomass C and N, and N mineralization were measured. Individual metals were added to a standard sludge in separate...
